polarisEmantra’s Primary Datacentre for its commercial services is Polaris in Queensland, a $220 million state-of-the-art joint Queensland Government owned facility which meets or exceeds the exacting standards of security and resilience demanded by our large corporate customers.

 

Emantra's services hosted within Polaris sit behind a DSD Certfied Internet Gateway and are delivered through multi-carrier diverse-path gigabit internet feeds, or alternatively through the customer's private IP connection/s.

 

Emantra also maintains secondary data centres in strategic locations within Australia, connected through Emantra-owned dark fibre, which allow for cross-datacentre load balancing, mutual redundancy and disaster recovery capabilities.

 

Emantra's Government Services are separately hosted at a top-tier AGIMO-listed Canberra datacentre directly connected to ICON and again behind a DSD Certfied Internet Gateway with optional FedLink encryption to the internet.

 

This network of high-quality Australian datacentres enables Emantra to offer our customers the best commercially-available physical and logical security for their data, the most resilient services, and the highest guaranteed level of uptime SLA in the Australian hosting industry.

Emantra Government Services

Dedicated Microsoft hosting services designed for the exacting requirements of Government. Our Canberra-located facilities are used exclusively for our Australian Government clientele and comply with agency and ISM standards relevant to the information classifications we handle. These include DSD Gateway certifications, security controls, info-class separation, and encryption and connectivity requirements.

Emantra Government Services ("EGS") is a specialist division of the company set up to exclusively deliver Emantra's Microsoft Private Cloud services to Australian Government clientele. Its management, facilities and operations are located within the ACT. Its primary infrastructure, located within a Tier III+ Canberra datacentre, has been designed expressly to meet ISM standards and agency guidelines. EGS's secondary data centre, used for dual-active services, mutual back-up and disaster recovery, is also located within the ACT. These data centres are each a member of the relevant AGIMO-approved panel and are to the highest available standard. None of Emantra's commercial (non-government) clients are serviced from within this infrastructure.

The services sit behind hardware firewalls and internet gateways which are DSD Certified to various information classifications.

Our services are differentiated from the many low-cost "Public Cloud" offerings in that they are fully hosted onshore, offer the full enterprise software feature set, and offer server-side development access on dedicated servers and customised reporting and SLA.
