Overview
Emantra is an Australian-owned specialist IT Managed Service Provider. The company was formed in 2005 by Ross Dewar and Cameron McFie, who together own and manage the business today.
From the outset, Emantra's focus has been on delivering best-of-industry solutions on the Microsoft Software as a Service model. We are not software developers, we are not system integrators, we are not a website hosting company with "services" tacked on. We are a technical service outsourcer focused on providing the highest available standards of Software as a Service delivery to the Australian market.
Emantra's business has grown to service many large corporations and government entities as well as a great bunch of mid-sized and small business customers. We are proudly a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and our technical team consists solely of MCSE Professionals. Emantra's facilities include dual high-grade data centres in Brisbane, Australia with an all-IBM and Cisco infrastructure. We guarantee to our customers a reliability and security of performance to match our technical edge.
Emantra delivers its services either directly to our clients or in association with accredited partners. We choose partners who can complement and add value to our services so our customers can enjoy an all-in-one full-scope solution.
Data Centres
Emantra's data centres exceed high industry standards and are interconnected with our own fibre. The dual facilities allow for mutual redundancy and remote back-up, enabling us to sustain the highest level SLA's in the Australian hosting industry.
Both Emantra data centres feature:
- Super high-speed internet connectivity, including ESHDSL, Metro Ethernet and fibre services
- Diverse and re-routable internet connection
- UPS supported dual power supplies to each server rack
- On-site diesel generator back-up
- Diverse metropolitan utility grids
- Manned security
- Locked APC server racks with on-board environmental and power filtering
Emantra is committed to the green initiative and is progressively installing power saving devices and more resource-efficient infrastructure within its data centres.
